    Wyoming Moose hunt, Archery

Completely random draws are the fairest way. If you add waiting periods as well as once in a lifetime for success I think that is the absolute most fair option. If absolutely necessary to help stack the deck I'm ok with adding bonus point options, however even those tend to level out with...

The Curious Case of Idaho’s Disappearing Deer & Elk

The issue is quotas, because they can close its tough to make that snap choice to shoot on lions.

    Any gardeners on here?

We had aspirations to be gardeners...then we discovered that with our lifestyle it is very tough to do. If the kids want to add it to their list of chores then I will gladly do it, but until then we will keep them entrenched in the finer points of stocking the freezer with wild game.

WGFD license proposals 2022, big cuts to Antelope.

I'm concerned we are taking action that is the equivalent of a sledge hammer for a fly on the wall.

    Fuel prices affect

Pretty sure most guys will still do it. I will be shocked if they don't. Now if fuel prices are this high still next year and people are eating their reserve incomes all year to drive....well that might change things.

    Wyoming Elk with 12 Points

Slugz, I can shed some light on this. First, I get calls all the time on hunts, where to hunt, being Wyoming resident and the Nevada writer that is what I typically end up talking about. Dan ends up talking Montana, so on an so forth. Most guys tell me up front that they are print subscribers or...

    Travel/Rescue Insurance For Adventure Hunts

I'm getting to a point where my bucket list of hunts are requiring action and budgeting to make them happen. They are moving from dream to action plans and how to carry them out. Which leads to lots of questions and I figured that I would ask some questions to the guys here who have done a lot...

Wyoming Passes 90/10: The Worst Article You’ll Read This Year - by Guy Eastman

With the tough state of affairs on the mule deer herd that alone could push it. I'm hoping for a wet spring that doesn't kill this year's crop of fawns and helps with numbers. More animals in the field is the best option for the moment.

Wyoming Passes 90/10: The Worst Article You’ll Read This Year - by Guy Eastman

Honestly it is lack of education on both sides of the issue that breeds those attitudes. We will see how this plays out in the future, my gut says that we will be waiting a while for Deer, Elk and Antelope to hit 90/10. However, we could see that change fairly quick if the politics were right.

Wyoming Passes 90/10: The Worst Article You’ll Read This Year - by Guy Eastman

Most of us as residents have had the conversation about the costs to us. We will be spending more on tags. The one caveat I will throw out there is that in terms of Wyoming tourism money, that is closer to a wash than most people will give credit for. For instance, a few years ago my Dad drew...
