Well, got in another back and Bicep workout. I am working on upping the step count and intensity at the gym. The ankle is holding up good, only tender in a few spots and all but one bump of swelling is gone. The prescribed 3 weeks of recovery seems to be just about right and i was religious...

Not going to lie, every social post I saw looked beyond warm and honestly...pretty miserable to be hunting. One of the rare times I wasn't jealous of people out in the field.

I am working on finishing my list for this year but my evenings have been hammered. I might need to bring a book with me some of the hunts I have this year. Currently "The Bomber Mafia" and "The Flying Tigers" are waiting for me to get them finished up.

And FYI, from the task force perspective that piece of the equation is over. Now whether or not our state law makers pick up the mantle, that will be the issue.

Bench press this morning, felt good to be back in the gym and working again.

This hasn’t been bad, just had to be smart, take a couple weeks off and heal up. Swelling is about 95% gone, bruising as well, only stiff in the morning so I think I won this round. I broke My other ankle in HS so I had a pretty good gauge for what I did. This was much less, just older now.

After my scouting trip I twisted my ankle. So my workouts have been all about recovery, ice, elevation and rest. The only time it hurts is when I wake up, gym may happen tomorrow for upper body. We will see. worst case I hit the bike tomorrow for a slow ride just to test it.
