looking at new regs we lost a few sheep tags for the 20 season coming up. after being able to go on my first sheep hunt this season it feels even more depressing knowing that the odds will be even tougher for the near future

I hunted 22 3rd this year. it was the first time I have hunted it so I cant compare to years past. But I did expect to see more deer than I did. weather was high teens in the mornings and up to low 60s mid day. only snow was left from the week before season started.

we floated 4 days. killed a ram 3rd day. floated the way out afterwards. lots of bass around. seen a few deer no bucks though. we floated preseason from Clarno to 30mi on a weekend. 4 days from 30mi to cottonwood. cfm was 380 when we started our trip

We hunted juniper and seen plenty of antelope but less than a dozen fawns. Did hear about the sheep killings from cats to. So sad. We build things up just to let something else tear it apart.
