I noticed the success rates for 3rd season were MUCH higher than the 4th season in a couple of the units that I was eyeballing.....I wondered if a lot of the better bucks were actually getting killed in the third season these last few years.

Sad future outlook coming from a guy who lives in the heart of some of the best Deer Country in Colorado. Hopefully with now that we are on the downswing of the late seasons things will get better. This year will tell us a lot about how those later season affected the older age category bucks I...

As much as I hope I draw there is a part of me that hopes I don't because my wife should be drawing her Colorado Bull tag this season.....that would really put a wrench into those plans and I don't want to do that to her as it is her turn this year. She is excited to get back after those bulls...

Finally got moved into the house and now we are starting the garage. Cut a ton of trees (popular) and getting ready to saw them on my portable sawmill (not here yet) for shiplap to cover the garage walls...... Missed the entire turkey season and most of the good bowfishing this year. Hopefully...
