    Wyoming outfitters tags ?

Not a chance. They will drop this right on the NR's shoulders. As if NR's don't already pretty much support their entire program. The beatings will continue until moral improves.....

    Wyoming outfitters tags ?

Thank you captain obvious for pointing out that the outfitter tags would be coming out of the NR allocation. Who would have guessed that?!

    Wyoming outfitters tags ?

Whoa whoa whoa! Lets all not loose sight of this fact: RESIDENTS bitching constantly about their “lack of opportunity” got all of the dust in the air to begin with. Those same residents who bitched and pissed and moaned and cheerleader for 90/10 for the big 5 and then were pushing for 90/10...

The 40 acre deer refuge 2022

My friend had one that was on the ground on a concrete slab. I helped him for one day and decided that it was Waaaay too much heavy lifting when you have it set on the ground. He even raised his up on concrete blocks after a few weeks of milling. I had all of the materials lying around to...

    At 56 it is tough

I went to Colorado elk hunting one year and lost 15 pounds. Learned a lot about eating on that trip. We were there for 14 days and pretty much ran out of food on day 10. My friend lost 30 pounds and had to use some string to hold his pants up. haha When we left the mountain and got to town we...

License Distribution Public Involvement – Process Update Proposal

CPW is making WAY too much money selling points for them to give up on it. They are going to continue with some form of points system or another. There is just too much easy money in it for them. Right now I feel that they are just trying to make the hunting better by addressing sportsmen's...

License Distribution Public Involvement – Process Update Proposal

Without getting too deep in the weeds I would assume that the PL doe tag is not an A list tag and changes being made may not effect your ability to draw it. But I could be wrong. Also I would think that those doe tags did fall into the first choice spectrum, they likely would not get applied for...

License Distribution Public Involvement – Process Update Proposal

CC, I see your side of the coin for sure. Unfortunately, whether you are a NR or a Res, the idea of building points while still drawing a lesser tag or even an OTC tag and going hunting is an unsustainable model given the amount of applicants in the point pool at this point. They are going to...

Yes. The guide I knew in Ontario hunted moose with an open sighted 30-30. Killed a pile of them too.

License Distribution Public Involvement – Process Update Proposal

License distribution public involvement process update proposal (state.co.us) I sure would like to know exactly who comes up with some of these hairbrained ideas. Point banking? Point Averaging? Outfitter Welfare? Lord have mercy. I did this that someone mentioned this: Require that...

    When do you start...

I try to only plan year to year pretty much. Too many other red herrings to deal with. Scheduling the Alaska bear hunt was way to stressful for me. They make you apply about 2 years ahead of time. (Which is ridiculous IMO).
