I agree Never drink while hunting. I always wait till I’m back at camp and done for the day. When I was guiding that was a hard rule for me also. If you want to drink then the hunt is done for that day. Hunting solo is a good time if you ask me.

My daughter and I did some pig hunting a few years back in Fl. My folks live in New Smyrna Beach. A night bow fishing trip, iguana air gun and gator hunts are on my list of things to do soon.

Post up what you got. I got a deer tag with a buddy. Another guy I hunt with got an archery deer and his son a bull Muzzy tag. So I’ll go with them also.

I drew a deer tag in my usual spot. Hope to spend a lot of time looking for a good buck. It’s hard hunting and low numbers but I look forward to getting back to the mountains.

That’s a great cost. I’ve paid $600 for half before but that was wrapped. I get it on the super cheap now that my kid raises steers to butcher.

It’s getting tough out there no doubt. Years ago we would buy OTC bull tags and have weeks to decide if we wanted them or not but these days you better be ready as soon as it opens or they are all gone! Idaho has changed a lot in the last few years.

There is always a chance. But the points guys are sitting on is insane!
