last day of goose hunt on this side of the state. I was a little irritated in my shot gun, or perhaps shells. I bumped about 200 geese off of an open spring and easily should've dropped 3. when they took off the water I dropped one and then shell jammed! so i got the goose, unjammed and sat...

I managed to make it to the spring this morn. 30 sure feels hot after -20!

this little guy was hung up dead in a fence, was able to get a permit go harvest it. Hate seeinv it go to waste. Front quarters and straps were in good shape. Hinds were all messed up from barbed wire.

took kid along on duck hunt this morn. first spot was full of people, second spot was froze so we skipped rocks instead! makes a way cool sound! was fun!

geese flew off when I approached water. Couldn't walk to fav fishing hole without a rod!

ok, I'm still learning here.... In the morning I'm going to be targeting geese, I know where a bunch like to hang out at. while fishing they keep rolling through and they are forced to drop down between cliffs to get to water so I should be getting some good close shots. ill include pic of spot...

everyone's favorite duck:) action has been slow, ive been missing way to many shots and I needed an ego boost. now to find a recipe that that makes this thing eatable.
