Yup, that is about right. If you have any hills add that. They never die in flat spots for me.. -

At 6’5 and 235 I tend to burn them up... But on the other end I need lots of food backpacking which equals weight.- ScottR

Elk units 86, 92, 94
You will run into hunters in all of those units, all have elk, all will be a LOT of work to pack out more than one animal. -

Personally, I try to hunt in places that won't have a lot of camps that close. Stepping on other hunters does happen but I try to avoid it if at all possible. -
Summer time fun!
