With the new winter range video we have dropping on Saturday I thought it would be cool just to start a thread dedicated to mule deer pictures. Let's see how long we can make this go, no parameters, grip and grins, winter range, etc. I will start.

Local opens up here soon, 20th I believe. I am hoping to get my boys out for it very soon.

Sounds like enough people made comments to stop them them from going all out.

The drought monitor is king this time of year. I am looking at that thing all of the time, I am also getting excited to hear abour their spring counts for the herds in G and in H.

They will and Wyoming will keep it's management plan in place. The good news is that there is enough private land to the North with ranch hands etc. that will watch for them regulary.

41 can be a good hunt, it can also be a real challenge. Scouting will be king for sure.

If anyone here has a desire to hunt in Montana I might have a connection for a REALLY fun hunt!
