    Colorado Mountain Goat Unit?

I'm trying to decide which mountain goat unit to apply for. I've narrowed it down to G4, G7 & G16. These three units all boast high success rates and would be the closest units to where I live for easier scouting. I'm not overly concerned with trophy quality and would gladly take either a billy...

    New Rangefinder

I'm in the market for a new rangefinder. I hunt with bow, muzzy, and rifle. I am NOT a long range shooter/ hunter however. I've owned for several years a Leica LRF 800. This was a solid rangefinder with great optics and was basically flawless. The only reason I recently sold it was I wanted...

Eastman's Forum Members Colorado Backpacking Trip

I've seen this done on other forums so I was thinking we should do one this summer. Of course any one could come but I'm assuming it would mostly be Colorado guy's? This would be a good way to meet some other guy's with similar interests and maybe the start of some hunting partner...

    Muzzleloader bullets/ Thor/No Excuses/PB

Thor...Finally had a chance to try out the Thor bullets today at the range. I tried both the .502 & .503 in 250 grain. Although I could get the .503 from the sizing pack Thor sends down the barrel at home, I could not get the bullets down today at the range. The .502 goes down pretty stiff...

    Bow on an ATV?

Here in Colorado we have to have our bows fully encased on an ATV (don't ask me why?). I had an older Polaris and the front rack had enough slots in it to strap my bow case on with ratchet straps. Pain in the rear, but it worked. I recently bought a new 2013 Polaris and the new racks (front)...

    Colorado Moose

Here's the Moose I took in October. Just over 50" wide. It's the biggest one I saw while hunting or scouting. I have a couple live pics of him in velvet but they aren't that great. Great hunt!

    Montana Maps

Guy's... I'm looking for a place to buy unit specific topo maps for Montana that have land owner designation. The place I get maps like this for Colorado doesn't carry Montana maps. I need a unit 404 map for an upcoming antelope hunt. Anyone know where to find the type of map I'm looking for?

    Antelope Questions

I drew a unit 404 antelope tag this year. Due to a very busy hunting schedule this year I can't get to Montana until the end of the season, around the first week of November. After reading the last issue of EHJ I'm concerned if the bucks will be dropping their horns by then? I've never hunted...

Anyone Archery or Muzzleloading units 7 or 8 this year?

I have a moose tag for these units and would love to share information with any elk or deer hunters who are hunting there in September. Moose season is Oct 1-14. I'll be in the area scouting and have already been up scouting a couple weeks ago. I saw some elk (no big bulls) and would share...

Drew my antelope tag... now what?

Well, I drew a 404-00 antelope buck tag. When I applied I thought I was set for a slow hunting season so the antelope tag would be nice. After drawing a Colorado moose tag, good deer tag, and a few others my schedule is getting to hectic. I'm planning to call Monday to see what my options are...

    Elk/ Antelope Bonus Point?

If I apply for Sheep & Deer now, I don't suppose I can still get a bonus point only for Elk & Antelope??? I don't think so, but thought I'd ask anyway! Thanks.
