The View From Here (New Years)

Most of my mounts will go in the shop or at work, but we decided to try a couple in the new house. Here is the first one I brought home from work; I'm not sure if it will stay there, but I sure like seeing it :)!

The View From Here (New Years)

I have a few years yet before I'm done, but we are where we want to be and are already having fun. The Grand kids have room to roam and I've already started wildlife habitat projects. Good Times!

The View From Here (New Years)

Thanks everyone, I should get the field in this year. We will be able to see it off of the west side of the house. Hopefully the deer, elk, bear and turkeys will make it a new hang out :) Hard to see the field area in these pics, but looking west is pretty cool too!

The View From Here (New Years)

Well after a long process and a lot of time and work we finally were able to get in the new house right before Christmas. We bought raw property a few years ago and did all the improvements getting power and water etc. to it. We also started a Honey Bee and Christmas tree business as a farm...

How did everyone's hunt go this year is it what you expected and are you going to change your plans for next year?

It was a busy year with putting the new house in, but looking back it still went pretty well other than it seemed like I had to kind of rush all my hunts to get back home for work on the house site, the honey bee business or my regular job. I ended up squeezing a Gator and Hog hunt in while...

    Finished off my season

Very cool IKIC, good work! You have had a great year and tagged some beautiful animals. Going to be hard to match this hunting season! I sure hope I draw a DBS tag some day, that looks like an amazing adventure. Congrats again!

    Alaska grizzly over bait

I've been lucky enough to go on a couple of these type of hunts. It was a lot of fun. I will definitely do it again if we have a chance. I have relatives in AK and I just hunt with them, so I don't know what a guided hunt would cost. Feel free to PM me with any questions you might have.

    2022 Fall Bear

Was happy to connect with a great boar this season. He is a bruiser of a bear with jet black hair and four white blaze marks on his chest, and huge paws so I couldn't resist skinning him for a half mount.

2022 Eastmans' Antelope Success Thread / Journal Submission

After seeing Ikeepitcolds great buck, I feel like a slacker for not holding out :). No not really! I drew a tag unexpectedly in a unit I'd never been to and thought I might not have an opportunity to go, due to trying to put a shop and a house in, plus needing to pull honey and medicate my 200...
