I've heard unit 76 is pretty good for elk, but not sure about deer i pretty sure you could get a drop camp, I would call the warden in Monte Vista and talk to him.

Applying for Wyoming Cow Elk and maybe Antelope depending on how the herd is doing.

I was 16 and it was just my dad and I. It went good I shot at a bull right from camp but missed. Other than that the ride in and out and the camp it self was excellent, no issues. The staff were nice and no issues.

just so you know you can only hunt units 77,78,771 together and for those units my dad and I did a drop camp years ago when I was a teen ager and hunted with Backcountry Outfitters out of Pagosa Springs.
