Yes I have, it was quite a few years ago like 2009. I have always wanted to go back but life and budget always gets in the way.

Elk Springs Outfitters Idaho, they have hunts in the Frank Church. If you are looking for a true back country experience it's hard to beat the Frank Church IMO.

Some Michigan politicians are proposing similar season changes here. What I found interesting is that they noted that the number of licenses sold had dropped for two years in a row and that by adding 10 days to the season more folks would have an opportunity to hunt. Nothing was mentioned...

The 2020 hunt planner still shows an archery season for 45-1, from Sept 15th to 30th. it's pretty rotten of them to put it on the hunt planner and then change it later. I really can't stand any sort of bait and switch!

Hunting for my family is not just something we do, it's who we are. My kids were always welcome to come with me but I never pushed them. When my oldest son was 10 the state of Michigan changed the age to hunt deer from 14 to 12 for gun and 12 to 10 for archery. I honestly thought it was crazy...
