Like Kid said that's hard to pick just 1, For me its not about what I hunt its about who I'm with. I love taking out new hunters and hunting with family. If I have to say just one its elk only because I haven't gotten to moose hunt yet.

Would some one be so kind as to explain how Id does the nonres tag allocation? pick a hunt unit like 60 A with 14 tags , is it up to 10 %? What happens if the unit only has 5 tags?

On my wifes bull 2 years ago I left the lower leg on the hind quarters because I forgot my saw and broke the last knife blade trying to remove them. The joints had stiffened enough to make it a royal pain to brake them. It was just the 2 of us and wasn't too bad a pack out.

One only needs to look at Nevada's 10 year harvest data to show that not only does it increase harvest but harvest of mature male bears because hunters can then make a informed choice on harvesting the bear or not. And if one thinks it a lazy way to hunt they should try it some time.
