It's coming out now that there were some on the set that were using that pistol to target shoot just before all this happened.
So it was a actual cartridge and not a blank. It sounds like they just took it back to the prop table and laid it down. Then the technician handed it to Baldwin...
If you know that it is shooting 2 inches low at 50 yards then just adjust to hit where you want to hit.
I have a 41 magnum pistol that its sights have no more adjustment and it shoots 4" high at 50 yards. I just figure that into my sight picture before I pull the trigger.
Questions, questions, questions, everyone has questions.
Perhaps the lady was a lady ninja and was going to grab the projectile out of the air. You know, like they do in movies.
I am quite sure that their definition of "live ammo" and our definition of "live ammo" is quite different.
But until it comes out we don't know just what was shot out of the barrel. A actual bullet, or part of a wad from a blank or something else all together.
I don't know if I would say that the lion was stalking the hunter or just curious about what that strange animal was.
Many years ago we were deer hunting in Utah. I wasn't old enough for a tag but I was packing a rifle for my sister when my brother in law saw a couple of nicer bucks on the...
I know that the rules that are posted for Colorado is that all meat from a CWD area must be boned out with the bones and skull being left at the kill site or area. Now if you want to bring the skull home it needs to be clean with no brain matter left inside the cavity and dry, same with the...
I was around the set of Steven Segal's movie Dark Territory and you never saw a firearm until the armorer brought it out to hand to the actor. That firearm was never out of their sight from the time that it came out of the prop trailer until the time they started shooting the scene.
You have...
The studies that I have seen say that it is fine to eat them and that there are no documented cases of CWD being transmitted to humans either by contact or eating the meat.
I would however avoid eating any organs and or lymph glands
There is going to be some interesting information that should come out during the investigation. I don't believe that they have said if it was a actual live round or not. I did hear that I could of been part of the wadding or another piece of material from a blank or a previous shot.
But if...
I have heard that the Leupold CDS dials are not the best out there but have never had a problem with mine. But then I usually just leave them on the 250 yard mark and leave them alone. The only animal that I have ever shot that I used the dials on was my coues buck. Did you try some loctite...
Whatever happens you need to lower the front sight. The only time that I have seen where you need to max out the elevation ramp is for those longer shots 200 + yards.
If your front sight is a ramp you can try filing it down, if it is a bead you would be better off looking for a lower one.
Don't you know if you sign up for one of the new Medicare plans you can get free hearing aids, dental, trips to the Dr office and more. And besides all that it is FREEEEEEEEEEEE
Brakes are nice for load development but that is about it.
When I was doing some practicing before my hunt in 2015 I could only take around 10 shots with my .340 Weatherby before my shoulder wouldn't take it anymore. But with the brake on it was like shooting my 30-06, but I'll never hunt...
