@ years ago I came from Phoenix to South of Daytona to finish my Royal Slam. Last year I moved to south Carolina and Can't even find a place to hunt ,its all so much private . Sucks compared to the West. And the Deer are so damn Small and I don't wanna sit in a stand all day . That aint...

Most States are over crowded with Turkey Hunters or You can't get drawn in some unless you have points!

Why they will, Smart $ . I have 15 points. instead of one premium hunt I can hunt a 4-5 point unit 3 times and they get non resident fee 3 years in a row. Its a win win for them.......................BOB!

Once you learn where they live its easy . Use a predator call and they come right up to you. Shot My only bow kill at 4-5 Yards. Quit hunting them after that ,they were my pets when I lived in Cave Creek AZ. , they come through my property every nite and morning and tease my dogs. Lotta people...

Been hunting them since the 80's all over . Got my Royal slam, the only guided one was in Florida. I rarely use decoys. I think they do as much harm as good. To each his own ,Good luck. Patience is the key and be in where turkeys live and roam...........................BOB!

I am putting in for the best elk hunt , and a deer hunt with good odds that you have to work harder but I know it. The elk hunt is almost imposible to draw but did one like that in AZ. last year. Never know......................BOB!

Living in Phoenix I hunted N. M. many times for deer and elk. Till they changed the cap . Haven't put in since. Going to this year since I moved to South Carolina. If by slim chance I get drawn I get a western Vacation and I had a AZ. Elk tag last year so don't expect one this year. .Good luck...
