I don’t think that it is acceptable but it’s done. If the person that does SSS they will be prosecuted If caught just like if a person killed a elk out of season.

Crazy but I guess when others aren’t doing it correctly then these are the things that happen.

I will be using the Vapor Series packs myself this year. The frame fits me very well. I have not packed a heavy load with yet but I have high hopes and I think it is going to feel comfortable doing so.
