I agree with the comments above. I like to think I can shoot long range very well and the range but on an animal my kills are usually under 400 yards.

Long shot here also. Probably not enough points to draw X zone deer. There is so much rain and the snow pack has filled every small lake and the creeks are flowing. I think it’s going to be a great year for horn growth!

We only have fall bear hunts around these parts. I wonder why Ca doesn’t have a spring bear hunt?

I agree Never drink while hunting. I always wait till I’m back at camp and done for the day. When I was guiding that was a hard rule for me also. If you want to drink then the hunt is done for that day. Hunting solo is a good time if you ask me.

My daughter and I did some pig hunting a few years back in Fl. My folks live in New Smyrna Beach. A night bow fishing trip, iguana air gun and gator hunts are on my list of things to do soon.
