Good luck with it.
I have found that one of the hardest things to do is to get a Dr to actually listen to you about a problem. I fought with gout for close to 30 years before it was actually diagnosed and I was able to get the medications to take care of it. I had multiple blood test along...
Well, the sky isn't falling like a lot of internet sleuths predicted. But there are increases for the non residents in Utah.
Copied and pasted from a news release:
Hunting and fishing fees for nonresidents will be increased, as follows:
Nonresident hunting, fishing and combination...
Here is the latest map on the drainage's that the wolves have traveled through. It doesn't show where the one entered Wyoming to feast on some sheep and managed to get itself shot.
I did report what I am pretty sure was a wolf that was killed on I-70 just west of the town of Parachute. I...
With all the fear mongering going on with all the YouTube videos and other postings, if they would of read the bill as I went back and did you'll see that the bill just establishes a maximum amount that can be charged and nothing else.
It'll be up to DWR to either raise the cost of tags a small...
The way that I see it the problem is outside groups that think because of the high liberal leaning population of Colorado that they can get these things to be voted in. Much like the wolf campaign, it was all outside groups that pushed it.
This also appears quite a bit like the initiative that...
Well, if you have been snoozing this is just to let you know that it is time to put in for Utah.
I just got done with mine for a deer tag for the HAMS hunt, pronghorn, and bison.
This may be my last year for the bison, the point creep stays just ahead of me and I'm not getting any younger...
I have 25 bison and 11 pronghorn points.
This may be my last year putting in for them if much of a increase happens.
I wasn't happy a few years ago when bison went from $1500 up to where it is now at $2400
I did some reading on the bill itself.
From what I read the DWR can raise the fees to this level and not beyond.
So now any increase will be in the hands othe DWR. But we all know what happens when you give the kids unlimited access to a full cookie jar.
If the Utah Governor signs this into law this is what you'll be paying to hunt in Utah.

I can hear the yelling already when someone with 1 or 2 points draw a tag for what used to take 20.
I'm used to this type of system since it is what Utah uses for the most part but it still doesn't help when you have been waiting 20+ years and someone comes in and draws the tag.
I quit putting in for my area since 99% of the turkeys during the spring season are on private "NO HUNTING" properties.
I took a drive today and found 3 different flocks with some nice toms feeding in the pastures behind the signs.
I'll have to say that for us that live and hunt here in the Western US is that we have been spoiled with unlimited access to millions of acres to hunt. Quite unlike our fellow hunters east of the Mississippi River where you need to purchase leases or pay landowners for the privilege to hunt on...
High top tennis shoes.
Problem anymore is that good and inexpensive don't go together anymore.
I like Crispi boots. For light weight I've been wearing their Colorado's which are no longer made and were replaced with the Colorado II for around $380 but they have sales with 20% off at times.
Going to see if I can draw my unit 44 muzzle loader deer for the third year in a row.
Points for antelope and elk and then see about picking up a leftover tag for cow elk unless I decided go go with a OTC bull tag and hunt with a buddy down in unit 32.
Wyoming will just be points again and...
And here I thought that I had a buyer for all of mine including some Kings World topo maps on CD for Utah.
In today's world of OnX paper maps are next to antique. But they are nice to spread out on a table where everyone can look at them along with marking them up with what you find instead...
