Nothing wrong with shooting a doe in my opinion. Puts meat in the freezer and helps keep a better ratio as far as I’m concerned. I always shoot mature does in areas where I see 10 to one ratios or more.

I got out for a few days in Ohio last month after my back surgery but the weather was quite warm. Plan on going back for muzzy in Jan and looking at Wyoming for deer or elk in 2023 in addition to my usual whitetail hunt in Ohio. Opening a business this month so I hope I have time!

I am across the bridge in St. Pete and we had a few inches of rain and up to 75 mph winds, limited damage. Got lucky for sure! Folks an hour south did not fare well at all.

Glad to hear things are going well CC. My back surgery was postponed until September 12. I was supposed to go under the knife last Wednesday. I literally feel your pain. I can’t wait to get this thing fixed.
