My first whitetail from this past weekend......a P&Y class 10 point from Kansas.

Didn't make it up there this Thanksgiving, Josh. My daughter flew back from college (Wyoming) so we had to stay at home. But my partner was up there.....lots of medium sized bucks.....a few decent ones. Nothing like years ago, though. Here's what USED to come out of this unit:

Exactly what I was fortunate to do this year. After not filling my 2013 tag in January, I ended up arrowing my 2013 deer on December 27th......a 25" wide 3x4 at 45 yards: Five days later (January 1st-2014), I was lucky enough to have this buck push a doe by me at 25 yards after I stalked in...

Sure do remember that buck....I officially measured it for P&Y and CBH. There are a lot of similarities, however this year's buck is much wider (around 30" outside). Jerry's buck was fairly narrow, but quite a bit of trash.
