Putting my son in for Wyoming Elk, I am thinking of putting my self in for cow/calf as I don't want to dilute his preference points since he has more than I do and he definitely has enough to draw if I don't apply as a party with him.

That’s awesome! I started trapping at 10 and have always loved it. It teaches kids so much about the outdoors and about animals that many folks don’t even realize are in their backyards. I love it when kids take an interest in it!

I like to find a yearling doe, have seen guys shoot what they thought was a lone doe only to spot the fawn while field dressing.

While reading the article, I couldn’t help but wondering how many animals they really poached. Multiple moose and multiple sheep that they were caught with, I can’t imagine the thought process of someone who is that brazen.
