    New Gear This Year?

    I bought a new Mauser M12, .270. So far, so good. I only have about 150 rounds thru it but it's easy to keep my loads under and inch at 100. Nothing under 1/2" yet but it's been fun to shoot. I put a Leupold VX3i 4.5 X 14 on it.

    I read about another T.V. hunter, Greg Ritz (sp) getting nabbed for a "shoot over bait and leave to rot" case. I think he walked away from the whole deer, antlers included. Just needed to kill it for a tv show. What scum.

    I'm sure they'll try too. Really thick brushy country in that area. It's likely the only bear with bear spray all over its face there, so it may be easy to identify!
