here is my buck from back in October. Not as big as my buddies, but it was fun. Didnt have much time to make a decision, and we were hunting during the bad wind storm that blew threw the region back in mid-october. A filled tag is a filled tag! Going to be much more choosey next fall!

Having never hunted in Montana before, I dont know a ton about the state. Are there any elk in the Long Pines / Elkalala Hills areas of SE Montana? Is it worth the price of the tag to try an elk hunt with the bow? You hear alot about the ft peck area, but not much about the far SE. Thanks! Luke
