My wife had some heart issues last Friday and I had to take her to the ER. Got her out Sunday with the strong admonition by the Doctors, "Get her to a Cardiologist as soon as possible"! After much calling and arm twisting got an appiontment in a week with some tests next Monday. My wife also has the startings of Dementia and this heart issue made it worse.

She is going to be 84 in a few weeks and we have been married 62 years. I don't feel I can leave her alone while I go chasing elk around the mountains, even tho I hunt about 2 hours away. I filled out the form and and sent it with my tag to P & W for a refund. I got it in the secondary draw so it didn't cost me any points.

Hopefully I still am going on a guided elk hunt next year. On of my friends went on the hunt before and recommended it.

Hoping for the best outcome for your wife and yourself.
When things like this happen, hunting is very low on the priority list.
