I've used beer in the water pan of my smoker when cooking something big (brisket, pork butt, etc.) to keep meat from drying out. It always comes out good, but I usually use PBR for this.

My bow went in today for a laser tune up anf new strings. Been needing it for the last 2 years. Get it back in a week or so and can start preparing for deer season here in Michigan

Good idea, Thanks!! Ill have to try that this fall. I do like a PBR every once in a while too.

I see exactly what your asking now lib, Im a bit slow at times. lol I process everything myself. Have had the grinder and smoker for a few years. Finally got a stuffer last year. Stuffed with grinder before that which was kind of a pain. I think that is Wyoming antelope sausage!!

It can! I just haven't found anything that comes out near as good as homemade, even using the kits you can buy. The high mountain seasoning company is on my home town, so it's easy to run by and buy cure, individual seasonings, etc.
