Whatever happened to your kryjakistan ( spelling ) adventure for the elusive marco polo? I remember you posting up your training regimen and hittin it hard but never saw anything else on it. Is it still happening?

What happened? I'm not wealthy enough:)

When the outfitter originally asked me to go on the hunt, the cost was going to be something I could afford. When we got closer to the hunt, the cost went up to $18,000. That's still a good deal from what I'm told, but not something I could swing. Especially when you consider the amount of hunts I could go on for that amount in the lower 48.

Great pics Aron! It looks like you've got a National Geographic photography crew following you around!

I need to take photos more seriously. I'm normally alone and setting up good photos solo is such a pain. I normally don't carry the extra weight and don't bother with the hassle. I'm lucky to have my camera phone and a joby gorillapod.

Seeing photo's like that really makes me wish I would have taken more time on my hunts to take more pictures! I sure hope I get to do some hunts like that in the future!
Pictures are incredibly important to me now. I never used to take them, now I take them all of the time because I don't want to miss some of the best memories of hunts.

I would also shoot in RAW as much as you can and get editing software. You'll probably want to get a backup hard drive as well, as RAW photos take up a bunch of space.

When you shoot in RAW, you can do just about anything to the photo with the editing software, so a bad photo that's taken at the time can be easily fixed.
