Too bad MM,

We didn't see the number of elk we normally see last weekend either. We did kick up a couple of small bulls though, and my buddy tagged one, so not a bad first week.

Its all good. I got what I wanted out of it. Time alone in the mountains and scouting for drawing an any bull tag some year! The general tag I had this year is spike only. Im not complaining about filling my deer and antelope tags this year and last on the first day I hunted but honestly it was nice to stay out a few days this time! Honestly I have never come home so happy with tag soup:) From what I saw though Im not so sure the bull tag is worth the line you have to wait in to get it other then its close to home and dont cost much as a resident. Im going to keep trying a different area each year with the general tag and hopefully I have something figured out about the area by the time I draw

Are you concerned that you don't have enough posts, and the other member's will think you are a newbie. Well now we have just what you need, the "Official Post Padding Thread".

Feel free to post about anything or everything totally random, post random numbers and characters, post your children's quiz grades, post about brushing your teeth, post about how you trim your nose hairs, it does not matter! Just boost the numbers of posts that you have. You too can go from hardly any posts to 100, 200 posts or more in no time.

You may think a pad posting thread like this would cost you $129.99 or even $159.99, but you can have it for only 48 monthly payments of only $9.99, yes only 48 monthly payments of $9.99! And that's not all, if you act now, for a limited time it is absolutely free.

Just think, when you reach that prestigious 1000 post level, people will look at you think you too actually know something about hunting and the outdoors even though you have no clue whatsoever!

DISCLAIMER: This thread may irritate a few of our more grumpy members, who don't approve of having fun, however if and when they post their complains, they can be officially known as a post padder as well ;)

Warning: Excessive use of this thread may cause dizziness, anorexia, blindness, insanity, baldness, obesity, incontinence, diarrhea, sleep deprivation, infertility, cancer, the jitters, unreasonable boldness in grizzly country, make you think you can fly, and/or constipation.
Nice disclaimer

Got the computer back today and it actually works now:) Still no phone, sent it to the wrong address (even though it was where casio says to send it in their warranty info) and took 2 weeks to get it returned..........

Well no s#% there I was reading EHJ while my computer was down when I realized IKIC was staring back at me! Congratgs! Is that buck from this year? For the record IKIC is our super moderator, not just a moderator as he is referred to in the mag and I thought he would be alot better looking;) HAHAHAHA!

Where are the pics of your big buck hardstalk;)
Id rather not talk about it.. 3 days of heart break and 4 days of crippling soreness..

All from 1 day of hunting.

I could have walked away with my head up, I could have said they got the better of me this season, I could respond with I learned a whole bunch! Instead i drag my tail in hopes for another shot in 300+ days.

No that buck was from 2 years ago and is my Avatar photo. Thanks I was very surprised to see it myself. The editors never said a word to me about it so I was very surprised.

Looks like the snow is here. I guess this is what I get for spending 5 days looking for elk when the weather was nice. Now it looks like Im going to be putting siding on my house in the snow. Im to far into it now to wait till spring now and it would be done if I had stayed home and worked on it but it seemed like a good idea at the time:)

Decided it was time to see the chiropractor today after I had to finish eating breakfast with my left hand...... Best part is I traded him 3 dozen eggs for it:)

My chiropractor gives a great military rate! I can pay him whatever I want or not pay at all if money is tight. Sometimes I trade him for eggs since my chickens usually lay more eggs then we eat!
