I was fortunate enough to be with my good friend on 10-23-13 when he took his first mule deer buck ever. He wanted a buck with character and thats exactly what he got! Very excited for him! Wyoming has definately been good to us this year. Two beautiful bucks headed home for Indiana.

Would love to throw that out there, but you know how that goes! LOL. It was our first choice area that we were lucky enough to draw on our first year. Hope to be able to return each year possibly with a Special Tag, but I'll have to wait and see if it works out. Wasn't really expecting to pull the tag, so I had to put in quite a bit of reading, research, and many many phone calls before deciding where to go. One thing I've learned about Wyoming is that there are some of the nicest people that reside there if they are approached properly. Definitely gained a lot of valuable information from local people for future trips and made a lot of lifetime friends my first time to the area. We definitely weren't expecting to take bucks like we did, but I'm not going to complain for our first mule deer. Sorry I took so long to respond!
