Ok we have 70 days until August 10th. Or 10 weeks. Here we can discuss, show off last years pics etc. But actually post on here! I don't want to hear crickets or frogs! I will contribute tomorrow with pics!!

I missed him with a rifle in bow range in 2011, I couldn't close the deal in 2012. Lucky is his name. I am debating whether chasing him or moving to a area where there are bigger deer.

I don't know, if I can't find a shooter in the new area I will go find him.

Ikeepitcold, yes, I will definitely be looking for him. Here is a buck from 2012 that my buddy stalked to within 21 yards and was crouched above and to the left of the buck. When my buddy stood up his knees cracked and the buck was outta there, lol.

Yep, at 21 yards we think the buck heard the knees. The other thing we considered was that maybe my friends scent sank down to him or maybe the magical 6th sense kicked in. But I liked the knee crackin' story the best due to the fact that we are both turning 50 and we like to tease each other about getting old. fatrascal.

Wow what a great buck! I could see that. I've got some bad knees myself from a quad racing injury and they can crack pretty load sometimes.

You definitely need to finish the deal with this buck then look for another place next year. Not too many successes feel better than settling the score with a buck who has outsmarted you for 2 years. You will have plenty of opportunities in the future for 190" bucks, this guy may pass or be taken before you can settle the score.
