Got my deer tag! I can't remember what unit I put in for first choice. It's one of two. So either way it will be good!

No information showing in the system for my grandsons youth cow elk draw so I called DOW, he is still in the draw. If I checked it right his odds are 73% positive of drawing a tag. Looks like I will have to wait until the 24th to know, still I will check each day.

Elk will show before the 24th. Just like all the other tags showed early. Deer was suppose to be on the 17th, and it showed on the 10th.

If you prefer to hunt with a rifle, I have hard that Colorado will let you exchange the tag for a rifle tag.

Yep, call Division of Wildlife. I read an article recently about someone who did that. The drawing for moose in Colorado is to allocate a certain number of tags regardless of weapon type used.

What unit? UH is correct you can switch out your tag for archery or rifle if you want.
