Custom Camo Painted Truck

What do you think of my son's truck? His artist friend did it. It's hand-painted and free-form, not a stencil and not a wrap. The paint is actually hard to scratch.

I wouldn't do it on my truck, mostly because Im the mechanical/functional/not to worried about how it looks as long as I get there type. But that is an awesome job he did! I would add up what it cost him (materials, equipment, shop, ect) and his time and figure out what he would have to charge to make an hourly rate he is happy with.

Cost is $2,750 on a large truck with a lot of detail like my son's. You'd have to send a pic and dimensions of your trailer to get a quote.

It does draw a lot of attention, especially when they see the detail up close. It's pretty amazing work.

Honestly, that's less expensive than I would have thought. Especially for a totally hand painted, one of a kind custom job.

That is awesome, very well done doesn't do it justice. I want to do a nature-type of paint job on my kid's room, not camo, but trees, sky, etc, your son's friend would be a natural for something like that.

Nope - too small a scale for what he does, but that's a great idea. I'll ask a good friend who does custom stocks for very high dollar rifles if he knows anyone who paints stocks.

Looks great, but would never pay that.
I'd consider $20 worth of spray paint though.
