First time posting here so im ready to catch a little bit of heat. From the east coast and have hunted white tails exclusively. Ive been spending a lot of time researching Colorado for my first mule deer hunt. We plan on going as a group and it will be all of ours first time out west as we are from the east coast. After spending hours researching and going through draw odds as a non resident with 0 points, theres a decent amount of units we'd be able to get a tag for. Ive been attempting to narrow down which unit sticks out to me and they all seem to be very similar. Examples include high hunting pressure, extremely low deer herds, or OTC elk hunters everywhere. At this point it feels like I should just toss all the units in a hat and pick a random one. Im looking to see if somebody is able to point me in the right direction of which units to apply for. We're looking for 2nd or 3rd rifle . There has to be others on here who have felt the same when attempting their first hunt over the past couple of seasons. I'm just looking to see how their experience was and if they wished they hunted a different unit. I will keep this thread updated as the draw results come out and we finish our hunt to allow others to learn. Appreciate any advice from you guys.

I handle Colorado for Eastmans.
Shoot me a PM with as much detail as you can on what you're looking for.
I'd do some research... then we can discuss.
