12 pp wyoming

Hello hope everyone is doing well . This preference point creep really sucks . I've now been on several western trips. Two cow elk hunts in wyoming and I'm 1 for 2. I'm looking to apply for a reduced cow elk hunt again this year but only in a unit I have a chance to draw a bull tag for in the future . We hunted 33 a few years ago and struck out . 16 last year and had a great hunt but im never going to draw a tag there so that's out . I really don't want to be the guy that draws a tag after waiting all these years with no clue where to start. I would really like to do a few cow hunts before. Anyway I would really appreciate any opinions. Pm's are understandable and welcomed .

You may want to take a look at the West side of the Bighorns, Areas 40, 41. They are the only areas that I am somewhat familiar with that you have a chance of drawing with 12 pps.

I would either find a friend to hunt a general area or plan to sit back and wait a few more years. 12 points doesn't get you much these days imo.

I do hunt with two close buddies and one of them has 12 pp also . I'm not planning on putting in for a bull tag this year or next but hopefully soon . Just trying to do some scouting with a gun and cow tag in hand. Possibly even a doe tag
