Another year of no Antelope tag. I think I’ll have 8 or 9 points now as a non res. I always do the special draw too.
I do think it’s not a bad thing in hopes of letting the number rebound and have better trophy quality.

Antelope tags for me and my brother with a 7.5 point average. This was in the regular draw. Thought about doing the special but sure glad now that we didn't.

No tags in our household this year. Some huge odds changes in our areas hurt.

I got a type 3 deer tag for close to home as well as some doe/Fawn whitetail tags. I got a second choice antelope tag as well that I will try to squeeze in a hunt with my son(s) depending on how it works out timing wise. With an elk/deer hunt in Montana already on the books the results didn't break my heart.

I'm still contemplating whether it's a waste of money for me to pick up a cow/calf tag. Need to go through all of the meat in my freezers and see what is old, etc. With 4 kids we are hammering the burger pretty good every year.

Antelope are going to need a few years to rebound from the tough winter kill in 2023. I drew my giat tag this year but the numbers are half what they were 3 years ago
