Natural immunity is very good. Studies show SARS (original) and MERS have AB years later. Studies show good AB decades after the 1918 flu pandemic. Point is government is pushing an agenda. Easier to give the same message to all vs. make an algorithm.

COVID-19 real: yes.
80% have minimal or no symptoms.
15-20% have moderate disease.
5% have severe disease of which 1% will die from sepsis or multisystem failure.

Had COVID-19 or fully vaccinated: don't need a mask IMO. Even if these individuals get COVID-19 their disease is extremely mild and risk of hospitalization is near zero.

COVID-19 is not a special virus. Coronoviruses have been around our entire lives. This virus doesn't trick the immune system nor our immune response. You will have AB and most likely they will be long-term. See comments above on SARS and MERS and Influenza (1918).
The CDC unfortunately threw out this 3 month protection making the masses think they will get COVID-19 again after 3 months because AB will drop off. Immune system suddenly doesn't work? Ridiculous. This of course is not true. The only scenario which would invalidate natural or artificial immunity is a mutation that the body doesn't recognize. However, this is very unlikely.

For all of you that need to know I have been practicing medicine for 21 years and have been on the frontlines. PA-C, MSPA. Only stated b/c last time I posted something everyone seemed interested in my credentials.
good post !

I have no issue with wearing masks after vaccination IF one is showing symptoms OR IF one chooses to do so.

I balk when they are mandated . that IMHO is ridiculous nonsense and a massive assault on individual rights.

dealing with covid should be no different then how we deal with hundreds of other diseases .
wash your hands, try not to hack and sneeze on those around you , if you believe you might be infected - SELF ISOLATE.
if your showing symptoms and MUST go out in public wear a mask. wear it always if you so desire .

my biggest problem with the vaccines is not wether they work or even wether they are safe in the short term .

I question wether they are ultimately going to be a hindrance to the ability of humans to naturally make their own immunities.
most would agree that vaccines have helped the human race in the short term but the simple truth is we still have no idea what the repercussions will be to our race in the long term.

500 years from now will the human race be nothing but weaklings susceptible to every bug out there without being vacced??

sure seems to be trending that way.

I am not anti modern medicine . it is simply my opinion that it is not wise to put such in your body unless it is absolutely necessary.

I doubt there are many in this nation who have taken less medicine in their lives then I have and I am seldom sick. never in my life have I had to take antibiotics for anything. I do not live a particularly healthy lifestyle . I eat whatever I want , whenever I want it. I only exercise through working, no gyms , no walks/runs. I no longer drink or smoke but I did. only quit because I see it as a crutch I don't need .

on the other hand ,I have family members (one of which is my twin brother ) who are fanatic about the way they eat .they go to the gyms they go on walks and jogs they don't and never did drink or smoke or partake in rec drugs. they rush to the emergency room for every little sniffle , they take all the vaccines the doctors offer up .steroids for every ache . they take antibiotics for something or other every year or so. and they are always sick with this or that. they are susceptible to pneumonia, bronchitis , blood clots , strokes , cancer ............ they get the flu shot each year and get the flu each year.

I have never had a flu shot and haven't had the flu in 25 years.

in my mind there must be some correlation. in my mind running to the doc for every issue is what creates a sickly person.

I am 54 with seldom a sick day in my life so far.

sure that will probably soon change but getting sick and dying is what old people do best!

As goes the church, so goes the nation. LOVE THAT!

Interesting fact that is seldom talked about is the 2020-2021 flu season. Where did it go? Virtually absent this year. There were cases but historically low. I ran the test a fair amount and NOT one positive. My colleagues have had similar experiences. If you look at the influenza surveillance map in which you can compare week/year to previous week/year the contrast is profound. I attached 2 images for reference. Feb 2020 vs Feb 2021. I have never seen this and likely won't again. Using basic hygiene and self-containment measures as outlined by Kidoggy as well as mask, IMO, are responsible for this historically low season. Proved for me, when I'm high-risk, and it's no longer fashionable to wear a mask, I definitely will during influenza season when in high-risk environments. Some had claimed the viruses compete against each other. This is not true. COVID-19 virus did not suppress influenza. Influenza is spread via respiratory droplets. Mask do a good job containing these droplets as well as other routine COVID-19 safety measures. Thought I would share the maps because I still look at them in disbelief. :)

I hear your thoughts on attenuated immune response, long-term, by artificial immunity. However, we are only talking about a handful of viruses and bacteria for which we have immunizations. The immune system is essentially being exercised, if you will, by receiving a vaccine. It still has to do it's job. The FEW vaccines that we offer in comparison to the profound number of viruses/bacterial/fungi that we are exposed to daily will not attenuate our immune systems. It safe to say, modern humans, are exposed to far more infections on a daily basis simply by living in close proximity to so many humans. We live in a petri dish. Stark contrast to the days of hunters and gathers. One example, rhinovirus class, is the most common virus that causes upper respiratory infections (AKA common Cold). There are over 150 genetic variations of this one virus. We are exposed to most of them at some point in our life. Not to mention 1000's of other viruses etc.

My only fear, which is a real and present threat, is antibiotic resistance. MRSA, VRE, gonorrhea, etc. These bugs are getting smarter and more resistant to antibiotics. However, we are not developing new ground breaking antibiotic drug classes. When a patient is really sick, with a drug resistant infection, we have very limited options. I have seen sensitivity reports with 15 antibiotics listed of which 14/15 were drug resistant. Meaning the patient had one antibiotic option. I treated gonorrhea with oral medications when I started. Oral medications, due to resistance, were replaced with IM shots. Shot started at 125 mg IM, then was bumped to 250 mg IM, this year bumped to 500 mg IM. The dose is changing due to resistance. This is only in a 21 year span! Greatest threat to health long-term is not vaccinations attenuating our immune system but drug resistant infections.

I was at a Casey Donahew concert last night in Deadwood, SD. Over 4k people shoulder to shoulder with no masks. It felt great. Not sure I would have felt comfortable doing this prior to having Covid. Guess it will be a good test of my wife's vaccine.

I found that I was able to cancel my Sirius radio subscription since I can pick it up just fine now with that chip that they installed. I haven't quite figured out just how to change the channel off of CNN but I am working on it.

On a totally unrelated note how bout we vote obama for another term, and socialisms is a good thing.

See no weird side effects at all....

CCP-Linked Professor Admits COVID-19 Was Biological War Against U.S.

In this picture taken on December 18, 2019, a Fudan University sign is seen on the campus in Shanghai. - One of China's top universities has removed references to freedom of thought from its official charter, triggering a rare act of student defiance, while two other institutions have moved to strengthen their allegiance to President Xi Jinping. Video that circulated this week showed students at Shanghai's Fudan University gathering to sing the school song -- which extols academic independence and freedom of thought -- in an apparent protest against the move. OAN Newsroom
UPDATED 10:02 AM PT – Friday, May 21, 2021

A top Chinese scholar has reportedly admitted that the coronavirus outbreak was an act of biological warfare against the U.S. In a recent video, Professor Ping Chen of China’s Fudan University said in 2020 Beijing won in both a trade war and a biological war against the U.S.
This comes after bioweapons expert Lawrence Sellin discovered China released COVID-19 intentionally to gain economic advantage of the U.S. and remove President Donald Trump from office. Professor Ping’s video further confirmed China’s biological warfare program served a political purpose of derailing President Trump’s “America First” agenda.
A new House Intelligence report found overwhelming circumstantial evidence that COVID-19 came from a lab in Wuhan. The report cited evidence obtained by U.S. Intelligence agencies over the past year, noting that the coronavirus outbreak was likely a result of an accidental leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. It added, there’s no credible evidence that the virus jumped from animals to humans by itself without any outside influence.
Meanwhile, Australian Intelligence suspects China may have released the virus intentionally in order to take advantage of the global economy. The House Intelligence report concluded by urging the U.S. government to release all evidence of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s cooperation with the Wuhan lab on the research.

The facility is among a handful of labs around the world cleared to handle Class 4 pathogens (P4) - dangerous viruses that pose a high risk of person-to-person transmission. This comes as Mainland China has been caught spreading COVID-19 misinformation, yet again. Most of this was channeled by its state propaganda media. According to a new report by the International Federation of Journalists( IFJ), Beijing was exaggerating COVID-19 fears and drumming up its response to it.
As a result, 56 percent of IFJ members said media coverage in their country became more positive of China amid the initial outbreak. The IFJ is based in Brussels and its members include 54 journalist unions in more than 50 countries. Amongst them, there has been a collective agreement that China has successfully manipulated COVID narratives to increase its political influence worldwid

got my second moderna yesterday. it killed me but I have since rebooted
Kid has now risen from from the dead.

You'll enjoy the radio reception when you are out hunting from that enhanced chip that was placed. I also heard that you will be able to skirt security in airports with it.
