I had the pleasure of hunting a late season winter range hunt last year with my father in the same country we grew up hunting. Well some as a lot of ranches have sold and are now growing houses lol.

Anyway had a great hunt and chased this guy around but did not get him.

I spend most of my time up high the early seasons now but sure a treat to get to chase them in the oak brush and sage down low!

Thanks he was once in a lifetime big. I put him at 36-37” wide w. 200” frame and pry 15-20” of extras.. Yep.. Hard to shoot any other buck once we saw him lol.
