Guys just something to think about. A good friend of mine was just fired from his job of 16 years with a major Financial Company. They said he was a racist due to a couple post he forwarded on face book. Two of the 3 they pointed out are on here. If you are a white male be careful what you post on social media if you work for a major corporation. We will all be sheep before long.

That has been going on for years but it is getting worse. We denied a very qualified applicant 2 months ago for similar reasons. HR departments are very sensitive right now for good reason.

Anymore if you are working and want to keep your job you need to stay off of social media or really think about what you are posting.

We used to pass around jokes that were sent to us off of fax machines that today would land you into hot water if someone would take offense or if the wrong person in HR would of got a hold of them.

You just never know who is going to be offended or what is going to offend them.

It would depend on the company policies - many corporations are having employees sign documents stating that they can be held accountable for online messages. Again, this has been going on for almost 20 years. I don't agree with it but I am sure teaching my boys that they will be judged by their online posts by schools, employers, landlords, etc.
