Texas hogs

Currently sitting in a blind in Baird Texas waiting on hogs.
After not messing up a shot on game for several years I've missed 2 already over the past 2 nights. Changed rifles this morning and will be checking my 7mag later.
Long way to drive just to empty brass. Lol
No days off before I left n never checked my rifle. Assuming of course it wasn't just me being off.

I have a friend that just got back from down there and the group really got into the hogs, he had a blast so to speak.

I just got an invitation to hunt hogs for free next month.
I've got a few custom knives from a guy in new Mexico. He bought a small piece in Texas and invited me down to hunt with him.
Was watching hogs on his camera while we talked.

I missed 2 hogs. Easy 150 yd shots. Changed rifles and will be checking the other my next day off if the weather's decent. Snowing a little now.

Hogs can be tougher than a covey of quail to hit, it happens.
