Narrowing down the pack of choice

In my research for a light weight pack I've narrowed it down to two...of those two I'd value any feedback on these choices.
1) Wilderness Pack Specialties, Bighorn Frame Combo with the additional Pelican Pack.
2) Blacks Creek G11 Series.

Both weigh in about the same...but I'm liking the detachable fanny pack feature on the Blacks Creek.

I'm intrigued by the new Kifaru Ultralight packs. The KU5200 (5200 ci) pack only weighs 2lbs 13 ozs!!! Apparently, they've tested the pack for ten years before putting it into production. Anyone seen or used this pack? Seems too good to be true, but Kifaru is a quality pack maker so it it just may be the dream backcountry pack.

Mystery Ranch packs will be the last one you buy. Worth the money.

Yeah, it would lead to that awkward silence, followed by a throat clearing and perhaps some scuffing of the dirt with a boot. Definitely just better to wait for the magazine. No "good game" butt pats either. Gotta keep the man card fully intact.

I think he is looking for something bigger. For a 1-3 day pack I like the X2 better than the 2200.

I use the badlands 2800 for 5-7 days but there no extra room;I'm getting the Badlands Ox for my Brother this summer.

I have several packs- Blacks Creek, Bandlands and Mystery Ranch. I love the Ranch and Creek packs. The Bandlands has turned into my dink around pack.

My son and I have the Blacks Creek Canadian packs and sure like them a lot. We quartered his nice cow elk he got this year and used the packs to carry the front quarters out and put the rear quarters on our Critter Cart. He had one quarter while I had one in addition to both backstraps and tenderloins. They appear very well made, are quiet, and comfortable. I see Eastmans just had a pack test and they left Blacks Creek completely out of it, too bad. I would have appreciated their impressions of the pack.
