Did some Salmon fishing today

Limit was 1 each so we were done in a few hrs. Clean fish and the meat looks amazing. Can?t wait to get the filets on the BBQ.

Yes it was the Sac river.

You're so lucky there are no sea lions there. We fished Columbia at Astoria and sea lions are at the boat as soon as they see you standing up fighting a salmon. Paint ball guns and slingshots to fight them off if you can.

They were fishing probably 200 miles from the ocean! Those fish were very bright fish to!

Looks like a great time! That black dawg looks like he enjoyed it too! I'd like to go salmon fishing again soon. Brought back a bunch last time we went, and I'm fresh out.
