Crispi, Zamberlan, Lowa, Kenetrek list goes on for high end boots.

I suggest you go to a sporting good store and try many different brands and see what fits your feet the best and go with that brand.

I ve had three pair of under armour boots. The most comfortable ive ever had. They will last a week if your lucky in the rockies. If you don't walk far in easy terrain then maybe. As I said they are like pillows on your feet but the least durable boot ive had

I have a pair of Cabela's Meindl boots. From the first day that I put them on they were comfortable and I have put a lot of miles on them. They are my go to boot if the weather is bad or if I know that need the support of a high top boot provides.

Other than that I also have a pair of Cabela's Meindl Perfekt hikers. I have put more miles on these boots than I care to remember. From the Arizona desert chasing my coues deer to elk hunting in Utah and Colorado, not to mention all the time that I wear them just around the house and out in the yard.

I bought a pair of Irish Setters last year and walked a lot of miles in them in 4th elk season and my feet held up well. FWIW, years ago I dropped a lot of $$ on a pair of Kenetreks and even though I have put a lot of miles on them they never seemed to fit me right. So spending lots of $$ does not necessarily equate to the best boot for you.

Fit is king. Go to a store where you can try on a variety, see what fits best inside of your budget.

I've hunted a lot 4th rifle in Danner Pronghorns/400.....they hold up well and have had no issues.

Archery/Muzzleloader Aug Sep I'm usually in a pair of Kennetrek Bridgers my next purchase will be a pair of Crispi Nevada's.

As others have said.....gotta try on a bunch....regardless of price they gotta fit correctly. I have found though the high-end boots when taken care of last 5-8 years of hard hunting/hiking.

I rock La Sportiva Cube GTX for archery and Cabelas Meindl Alaskan Hunter (200g) for late season hunts. Best combo for my feet and ways of hunting. If I had to for some reason change, I like the feel of Crispi Nevada GTX for archery

I've been running the Danner Pronghorns for 2 years and they are great. I've heard others mention that these are nearly the equivalent of the Kenetrek with only 50% of the $$. I've never owned Kenetrek boots, but I've had great success my first 2 years in the Pronghorns.

I had a pair of kenetreks once . they were a good boot but man they be pricey. now I wear danners and they seem to last just as well as the kenetreks did anyhow.

I like the Danner Pronghorns uninsulated for early season and insulated Irish Setters for late season. My current pair of Danner boots are 4 years old and have held up to a lot of miles.

Danner Pronghorns aren?t even in the same ballpark as Kenetreks. Two totally different boots with different intended uses. I?ve owned both for several years. The Danners are great for walking on mostly level ground.... like when you?re hunting Pronghorns ;) and that?s about it. The Kenetreks are a much stiffer mountain boot. More designed for backpacking, and rough mountain country. The problem with Kenetreks is they don?t fit everyone right. They do fit me pretty well. Like was mentioned above, fit is key. Decide on the type of boot you need for the hunting you?ll be doing then try on a bunch until you find the best fit for you. Sometimes you have to own a few different ones until you land on a brand that really suites you. For me it?s Asolo & Kenetreks. Lowa are no good for me but lots of guys like them. I?d really like to try some Crispi next.

That's the trouble with boots, one pair just doesn't cut it.

There are some out there that do a pretty good job for two or three situations but then something else comes along and you need a totally different type pair of them.

I have 4 pair. Uninsulated under armour that I love.
400 gram meindl for cold weather walking.
1000 gram Irish setters for cold weather sitting or standing a lot.
And some 2000 gram Pak boots for 30 below stand hunting.
All serve the purpose well.
For what it's worth my feet hate danners

I also have 4 pairs.

I think most lower end boots at least for me would only last 1-2 years. And at $150 per pair you can get a pair of high end boots that will perform better IMO and last for 5-6 years for $300-400. Money better spent

This is my exact setup as well. Couldn?t be happier. I ran my last pair of Alaskan hunter boots for 10 hunting seasons, finally needed some attention so I took them in to be repaired. The boot repair owner recommended I just take them into Cabelas due to their lifetime guarantee and sure enough, new pair. I couldn?t believe it, felt guilty, but they thanked me for buying their product. Not sure how one could go wrong with this route.
Not sure about new policies with the conversion though?
But this is my vote!!
