Any of you guys using RL22 for 7mm Rem mag? Specifically with Nosler bullets? I had previously been using IMR4350 and 150gr Nosler Partitions but I am out of powder and IMR4350 is becoming hard to find.

I tried rl22, but didn't have much luck. 4350 was the best I tried, and I too had some trouble finding it. I'd say keep looking and buy a bunch when you find it.

I just got done working up a load for my brother in law for his 7mm Rem mag. I used RL19, RL22, and some IMR 4831. I used Nosler and Barnes bullets and finally settled for a Barnes 140 grain TTSX over 67 grains of RL19. The same load using RL22 was 100 fps faster but the RL19 was more accurate. I tried some Nosler 160grain Accurbonds but couldn't get them to shoot very well.

From what I have read RL22 is little bit more temperature sensitive than RL19 but I make up my loads in the summer and shoot them in the cooler months so I don't worry about that. RL22 has worked quite well for me in my .340 Weatherby and if you work up your load for your 7mm it should also work for that.

Anybody handloading the Hornady 162 gr. ELD-X? I also have some 180 gr. ELD-M stuffed in Norma brass for shooting long distance, but personally don?t use those M-bullets for hunting. I know guys that do and that have had good success.

I should have mentioned that the 162 and 180 loads I was inquiring about, are for 7 RM. Thanks.
