ORDFW Login Problem

Anyone else having trouble logging in to their ORDFW profile page? I've been trying for 3 days, trying 4 browsers via 2 different computers, and all I get is a "Captcha Error" whatever that is. Emailed ORDFW and got no explanation, just said try another browser. Google Chrome works best OK great that's the first one I tried. Running out of days here.

Am I using the correct application page?

This website is getting to as big a joke as their outfitter welfare & 2 1/2% NR quota. Wish I'd never gotten involved out there.

I got another useless response from ORDFW. They are as amateurish as Illinois in this regard. Is Oregon’s state employee pension program bleeding them from modern IT advances like here??? Or what? What a joke. No problem ripping off prior investors by cutting tags 50%. But when it comes to an up to date computer system..............???????? Pathetic.

The 2 1/2% NR quota upsets me also, I wish it was lower. :)

Try alternating between Firefox, IE and Chrome and see if it makes a difference. Often times one server works better than another.

I just went to the login page just fine.

Try dumping your cookies, you might have a bad one in the bunch. Or at least just dump the ones for that web site.

I suspect it's a secondary app/plug-in problem; java or something else that's causing the issue. If you haven't already, try your phones browser. Being separate from your pc it should work fine.

I believe the NR quota is going to 5% for all species next year. Still not 10 but moving in the right direction.

I am not too high tech, but also suspect it is a secondary app/plugin issue as you mention by process of elimination, because it's the same in 5 different browsers now. I disabled all the popups. Nothing I tried my iphone in Safari. No difference

Or it could be some stupid Xi Jin Ping filter since I'm trying to do this from China. But was able to buy my Iowa point just fine from here yesterday. No problems like this on any other website.

So what that 5% probably just affects antelope and half those will go to outfitter welfare so it's still 2 1/2% for DIYers. I wish all the states had reciprocity legislation but they don't because there's no special interest group with a financial reason to jingle coin in the lawmaker's faces for that.

Thanks Bob, just called Julie and got it worked out. She took my CC over the phone and accepted an email with my application. This was so weird. She said just one other applicant had called her today with this same problem. I even tried going into the city (Mianyang), and using an office supply store computer, same problem. And having a friend in the US try to access my account without luck. He said the Captcha box appeared but was nonfunctional. Julie told me others had also tried turning off popup blockers & cookies with no change. So she is pretty sure it is a computer error on their side, appearing randomly, and they know about it and will fix it eventually.

Kind of important this year, as I am putting in for some hunts where I have a prayer with 20 NR points (Mt. Emily elk & Warner lope). Discussed with my wife, as she would accompany me on any hunts this year. She really wants to visit Seattle, so this would be her chance to get out there.

Just got AZ & WY left now and done with 2018 apps. Waiting on UT & NV results before finishing those.

No need for prayers, you are 100% guaranteed to draw Mt Emily (either w/bow or rifle) w/20 points. Good luck.

Haha yes if I were a resident but I'm not. A little different when you are grasping for 2 1/2% of the tags = 1

21 points with a rifle is 100%

Any seismic activity in Sichuan? How is your humidity and heat right now?

20 points at 8 bucks a point is 160 bucks plus 3000 in lic fees you could have bought landowner tags in several states.a couple of times.
