Squaring up my FMJs with the g5 asd

So I had my local sporting goods guy cut my FMJs to length. Have u ever looked at how not square the actual cut is. The arrow must flex as it is pushed through the cut off saw. Luckily I have a brand new g5 asd. I'm about 10 minutes into the first arrow, and I'm almost there. Anyone use the g5 asd?

I do and I love it.I do the shaft and the insert after I glue it in.I also use it to line my broadheads with my fletchings,they always spin good after I true up the insert.

They will never be a perfect cut, but if it is THAT far off I would say you had someone that was either rushing to much or has no idea what they are doing with the saw. When I managed the proshop I once had a kid working there that cut a dozen Gold Tips and they looked like a beaver had chewed them off, they were so uneven. Last time I ever let him touch the saw. He could never get the hang of it no matter how hard I tried to teach him.

Chadh. That first arrow was the worst one. U could obviously tell it was not a square cut. 15 minutes and I had that first arrow square. 3o minutes and I had all six done. The archery shop guy is my go to guy and he has helped a ton. I am now trying to do all my bow mechanics my self. I have found it enjoyable. Now I'm excited to see if I will notice a difference in how the arrows group
