If applying as a party all the bonus points are added then divided by the number of hunters in the party. This number is used going into the draw cycle, so if all members get a tag, it is based on everybody's points. I do not think one member will be able to retain his particular points if he chooses to turn in his tag.

I think Ikeepitcold is correct, but I agree with tdub24 states how it should be.

If Ikeepitcold is correct, it would be very easy to legally take advantage of the rules to get very good tags quite often.

I've looked at the NAC regarding the return of a tag and I've found no distiction between a party tag and an individually drawn tag.

Unfortunately this is why I don’t agree with the system. A person with less points can join a person with many points and draw the tag. Then the guy with more points can turn his tag in and keep his points.

Exactly, I can put my wife in with me. I can hunt, she can turn her tag in and get the bonus point. After a few years, I could get nearly any deer tag I want every year.

Now with the talk of the new vendor not publicly posting the tag results, it will make it just make it more anonymous and hard to spot.

Generally the NDOW is proactive in addressing hunter issues, right? At least I don't think of NV as one of the corrupt states when it comes to game departments. Has anyone brought this NDOW's attention?

Ok, so the real issue is, where can I find a wife with a ton of Nevada points? Joking ...
