10 years backcountry guiding.. now I work on powerlines. Use to hang off helicopters working on big transmission lines all over the U.S., but now work for a local co-op power company in western Wyoming and go home every night, unless the power is out of course.

Active duty US Marine, but retiring in 18 months to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian. I will most likely be one of the oldest students in vet school, but after 20 years in the Marine Corps I will be able afford to eat better than the average starving college student.

I mow yards and some construction when the grass isn?t growing.
Keep thinking I?ll get a real job someday but I enjoy going to work everyday too much to change.

I am a HEO ( Heavy Equipment Operator) at one of the many coal mines here in Wyoming. Pretty much operate everything they tell me too. I work 4-12hr shifts then get 4 days off. So i basically work 6 months a year if you do the numbers but lots of hours in total. It's nice to have 4 days off in a row for hunting and only have to use 4 days vacation to get 12 days off in a row! Been doing this for 13 years.

Some pretty neat jobs in here! I underwrite for a high net worth insurance company, I've worked there for a little more than 10 years, straight out of college. On the side, I buy and manage rental properties. Would really like to keep buying, and then quit the day job.
