I remember in high school science class we looked at the sun using exposed film. I got out some exposed 35mm film strips and doubled them up. WOW...really got a great view of the eclipse here in SW Colorado. Probably 80 to 85%, definitely got darker and cooler. Pretty cool..............

We had 100% in Shoshoni today. I figured it would be pretty neat to see and it blew my expectations out of the water!!! I decided to try to enjoy it as much as possible and leave the photography of totality to the professionals and im really happy i did.

It was as cool as everybody said it would be. There is no comparison between a partial and a total. Now I get it. Really glad I got to see my 1:22 of it.

The 75 seconds of total eclipse I saw was amazing. I didn't realize until today the huge difference between 99% and a total eclipse. It was a big surprise.

It was a Mehh moment for me. Too much hype and not worth traveling hundreds if not thousands of miles and spending thousands of dollars to see, that's for sure.

I was really hoping for total apocalypse and zombies everywhere. Boy, what a let down that was! HAHA. It was pretty neat, what amazed me was how much light there is with just a tiny sliver of sun showing! Really proves how powerfull the sun really is.

I was up on Union pass and it was a lot more spectacular than I had imagined. About 2 minutes 20 seconds for me

I was scouting deer and elk... It was pretty nice at ten thousand feet.. I didn't have a pair of eclipse classes.. It was a traffic jam from Saratoga Wyoming to past Shirley Basin.. We ran into sum pretty rude people at the gas station in Saratoga... Pretty much told them as much..

That's all I ran into before/during and after the eclipse. Rude, self-centered people from all over the country....the folks from overseas were very polite and friendly. The gas stations and grocery store lines were the catalyst to butt-head behavior.
