Yeah the roads were mostly dry. I had planned to run Christmas morning but the winds were 40mph with gusts over 50 so I ate pancakes instead. I'm hoping once I get back to running a few times a week that my legs will come back quickly and losing a few lbs will help me out.

Yeah i ran last night the wind was 25-30 gust to 40. Had the wind to my back first mile and ran into it the last 3/4 of a mile was definitely tough to run into

Rode recumbent bike 44 mins on cross training level got 15 miles

Wednesday. Worked late had to be back Thursday early so short on time

Rode recumbent bike 30 mins on pikes peak setting. Got 10.5 miles

Sweet yeah let me know! I picked up at set today at walmart for $38 on clearance normally 79. Has vinyl plates. 2 10lbs, 2 15lbs and 2 25lbs. Came with a bar to but reviews are mixed on the bar. Comes as two pieces that you have to put together and its hollow. Dont know about the bar probably end up getting a different one at some point but figured for the price the weights are worth more then what i paid

Thursday

Went for a run alittle longer then normal since i got out earlier in the day and had day light. Was happy with my time. And the time on my app is wrong actually need to take 30 secs off my third miles time cause my keys fell out of my pocket and i had to turn around and find them.


So overal 40:29 and pace would be 10:08/mile

Rode recumbent bike 44.5 mins on cross training setting got 15 miles

Lifts

Inclined bench press and bench press
3 sets 10 30lbs
3 sets 10 50 lbs

Leg curls and Leg extensions
3 sets 10. 35 lbs
3 sets 10. 40lbs
Military press and bent row
3 sets 10. 50lbs

Went for a run before new years party. Legs were tired pushed hard but didnt get my 10 min or under pace.



Sunday

Off day

Weigh in was good dropped 3.6 pounds back to 270. And 90lbs down total now to stay below 270. Sick of bouncing back up after holiday. Weight bench should help add a new dimension to my workout routine

Nice Marcus. I have been dealing with respiratory issues for a couple months. Really cramping my workouts. Between fatigue and coughing when I push myself, I haven't gotten much done.

It's a new year and I'm going to make it a new me. Back to my orangetheory work out twice a week and hitting the weights hard for the mountains in September! Time to get after it, I've been slacking. I would've never thought my first workout of the year would be in Brooklyn New York!

I've been putting forth a lack-luster effort due to work schedule, holidays, hunting, etc. But none of this is an excuse for some of my recent eating habits. I started back on my old routine of working out and eating healthy again yesterday.
I plan to post more details of my workouts here going forward so as to motivate myself and perhaps others.

Monday - Chest workout only. Flat Bench - worked up work sets of 5 sets of 5
