$260.00 off seems like too much of a sale? Makes me nervous when they list so many refurbished scopes. If it is legit, that is a great price on the VX3L.

Gives you an idea of the mark up if they can sell at such a drastic discount. Still, heck of a bargain on a good scope even if it is the older, closeout model. ( on a side note: I recently purchased the new VX 3i and mounted it on a Forbes rifle in 6.5 Swede. After using it quite a bit during load development I must say it is a dandy scope with some measureable improvements. The glass and coatings are excellent giving the image great depth and contrast. The elevation/windage adjustments are more positive too,)

Pretty sure it's legit. I have never seen refurbished Leupold scopes. Natchez is know for dealing in closeout optics.

Leupold has an unreal warranty. Couldn't be more satisfied and will be a lifelong customer because of it.
But like I said, I've never seen Leupold refurbished scopes for sale, and I have bought and sold a bunch of scopes over the last few years. It's just discounted scopes from a model change. VX3 to VX3i. Natchez has all kinds of closeout optics.

Natchez usually has some great deals but they kill you on the shipping. I had a order all filled out the other night and then I looked at the shipping quote and about died.
Leupold last fall had a $100 rebate on all of their VX3 line of scopes when I picked up a 4.5x14 on sale and then the rebate put it under $250

Dang, that's a great deal. I wish now I had gone with 4.5X14 instead of 3.5X10. Very happy with it, just want more power.
Most "refurbished" Leupold scopes go right back to the customer who sent it in (no charge) .... Any refurbished Leupolds that for any reason end up in Leupold's inventory are sold at the yearly EMPLOYEE sale
I am really surprised that anyone would "translate" a good deal on a TRULY GREAT product into "something's fishy, too good a deal" ?? (must be a competitor employee)

Easy There Trigger, take a little time and read through some of the years of posts by others and you probably would not accuse people of being Competitor Employee's. No one is disputing that Leupold makes great scopes and have excellent customer service. What may come across ok in a conversation can quickly go sideways typed. Good luck and God bless
